The RAR is a classic Eames design in that it combines different materials rarely used together in furniture manufacture. The comfortable seat is made from tough injection moulded fibreglass and it is supported, almost looking like it is suspended in mid air, by polished stainless steel rods which in turn are mounted on walnut wood runners.
