Eero Saarinen inspired Tulip Chair

Designed in the 1956 by eminent Finnish designer Eero Saarinen, the tulip chair was and still is considered to be his greatest work. The design was borne from Saarinen's interest in the combination of space age design and organic shapes. The resulting Tulip chair has absolutely no straight lines and is suspended by a graceful single pillar, rather than a more conventional leg arrangement. The chair is manufactured from a strong highly finisged fibreglass seat shell, coupled with a heavy aluminium base that is protected and coated to match the rest of the chair seemlessly.
