Arco Floor Lamp

Created in 1962 by eminent designers Achille and Pier Castiglioni. The Arco Lamp was originally designed for the purpose of hanging over and illuminating a dining table. Fairly quickly people were using these as floor lamps to illuminate all types of living areas and these were the height of cool during the late 60s and early 70s. They even featured in a number of films at the time including the Italian Job and Diamonds are Forever. Today they have experienced something of a comeback as the sleek, functional and elegant arched steel design looks completely at home in any modern living environment.
